Product purpose
Maternity pads, also called postpartum pads, are made for the postpartum bleeding, known as lochia, that can happen for weeks after childbirth. Whether you have a C-section or not, bleeding will still occur after giving birth.
This bleeding will carry on for a few weeks and will gradually turn a brownish colour and decrease until it finally stops. It will be quite heavy at first, and you'll need maternity pads.
We recommend these maternity pads as they are made for sensitive skin and 100% organic

How to use
Use immediately after giving birth. Unwrap the individual pad and peel off the backing strip. Place it inside your pants and press firmly to secure the adhesive. Replace every 4 hours or as needed. For additional healing, we recommend placing witch hazel pads on top of the maternity pads.
Notes:
New mothers will experience postpartum bleeding anywhere from a few days to a few weeks. As a minimum, we recommend having two packs of postpartum pads in the house and one pack in your maternity bag. You may need to change your pad every hour or two to start with, then every 3 or 4 hours in the coming days and weeks.
Each pad should be changed regularly throughout the day, depending on the heaviness of your bleeding. At first, when bleeding is heavier, you may need to change your pad every hour or two, then every 3 or 4 hours when the bleeding gradually becomes lighter.
A hospital bag must have!
